Warranty Information

TOPAZ provides warranty on the products and services as follows : -

  1. Repairs.
    All repairs are covered by a 90 day parts and labour warranty.
    If your laptop computer should fail, for the same fault, within days of despatch, Topaz will arrange for the unit to be collected and repaired at our workshop free of any charge.
    Topaz is fully authorised and trained by Toshiba, therefore any repair work carried out is protected by the original manufacturer warranty.

  2. Options.
    Batteries, AC adapters, RAM and other similar products are classified as product options. Unless otherwise stated, they are covered by the manufacturer warranty, which is normally 12 months. Hard drives supplied via the on-line shop will also have 12 months minimum warranty. Client returns the unit to Topaz for replacement.

  3. Parts.
    Keyboards, systems PCBs, displays, hard/optical drives (supplied as computer parts all have 90 days parts only, unless otherwise stated. Client returns the unit to Topaz for replacement.

Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not include accidental damage. e.g. liquid damage (90% of keyboard faults are due to liquid spillage), cabinet or component breakage due to misuse. AC power adapter cable damage is also excluded.
